Stacey D. Mealer
Stacey D. Mealer, formerly Stacey D. Bond, joined the firm of McGinty & Belcher, Attorneys, PC, in April of 2009. Stacey provides legal services in all areas of estate planning, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives, along with conservatorships, guardianships, and probate. Stacey practices from the firm’s Salem and Newport offices.
Stacey is a lifelong resident of Lincoln County, Oregon. She was born in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, and moved with her family to Waldport, Oregon when she was 2 years old. She graduated as valedictorian from Waldport High School and graduated from Oregon State University with a bachelor of science degree in business administration. Stacey graduated from the University of Oregon School of Law with a Juris Doctorate degree. After her graduation from law school she spent several years in practice with Richard D. Beeson, Lawyer, PC in Newport, Oregon. She focused primarily on personal injury claims, wrongful death and insurance claims and assisted in many trials, arbitrations and mediations.
Stacey is a member of the Oregon State Bar, the Oregon State Bar’s sections on Elder Law and Estate Planning and Administration, the Marion County Bar Association, the Lincoln County Bar Association, and Oregon Women Lawyers.
Stacey is thrilled to be working with McGinty & Belcher and carrying on the firm’s moto of “Protecting you and the ones you love.” Providing excellent client service and giving back to the community has always been very important to her. Stacey enjoys spending her free time with husband, Jim, children, Lindsey and Toby, and their 3 english bulldogs, 2 miniture goats, and cat. She also enjoys camping and riding ATVs while enjoying Oregon’s beautiful outdoors.
